Non-binary gender is often represented by androgynous models in fashion campaigns. This has been adopted by other fashion brands thus creating a trend.
Non-binary gender and gender fluidity are now seen as 'trendy'.
How can gender non-conformity be represented accurately by fashion brands?
The answer is real people and real stories. There is no such thing as 'looking non-binary' so we must communicate the message that gender is percieved and expressed differently by every individual.
